01 / Challenge
The operational problem
Small retail shops in Bangladesh operate very differently from the environments traditional POS and inventory systems are usually designed for. Shop owners often handle a high volume of small transactions, flexible pricing, customer credit, changing product demand, and many everyday sales that are difficult to record through rigid digital processes. Conventional retail software can add too many steps to these activities, making digital record keeping slower than the way shopkeepers already work. The challenge was to design a complete shop management application that could support real retail operations without forcing shopkeepers to change the way they naturally run their businesses.
02 / Process
How we approached the work
The product was planned around the shopkeeper's actual working environment, including sales, product management, customer credit, purchasing, inventory, and day-to-day business understanding.
Each part of the application was evaluated from a simple question: can a shopkeeper use this during a busy working day without the software becoming an additional burden?
The resulting product direction focused on keeping routine actions familiar, reducing unnecessary data entry, and giving retailers flexibility in how they manage different parts of their shop.
03 / Solution
What we built
The application brings everyday shop operations into one place, including product and inventory management, sales recording, customer credit management, purchase tracking, and business summaries.
Retailers can manage their shop according to their own products, pricing, customers, and selling patterns instead of following a rigid retail system.
The application is designed to support both detailed record keeping and faster everyday transactions, allowing shopkeepers to use digital tools without slowing down normal shop operations.
It also presents business information in simple, familiar terms so that retailers can understand what they purchased, what they sold, how much customers owe them, how much money they received, and their estimated profit without needing accounting knowledge.

04 / Outcomes
What changed
The application allows sales, inventory, customer credit, purchases, and business performance to be managed from one connected system.
Shopkeepers can maintain useful business records while retaining the flexibility required for real-world retail transactions.
Customer credit can be kept in a structured digital record, important business figures can be reviewed at any time, and retailers can see a clearer picture of how their shop is performing.
Most importantly, the product makes digital shop management more accessible without requiring the retailer to adopt a complicated or unfamiliar way of working.
