01 / Challenge
The operational problem
Corporate financial management involves far more than recording income and expenses. A company must maintain accurate accounting records, control approvals, manage receivables and payables, track cash and inventory, handle assets and liabilities, prepare budgets, reconcile balances, close accounting periods, and produce reliable financial statements. When these activities are spread across separate files, manual processes, or disconnected systems, it becomes difficult to maintain consistency and trace every reported figure back to its original financial record. The challenge was to create one financial system that could support the complete corporate accounting cycle while keeping financial information controlled, consistent, reviewable, and ready for management reporting and external audit.
02 / Process
How we approached the work
The work covered the major financial processes that operate throughout the year, including customer and supplier transactions, cash and banking, inventory, fixed assets, tax, payroll accounting, borrowing, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Each workflow was designed so that financial information remains connected from the original business transaction through accounting records, the General Ledger, trial balance, financial statements, and supporting reports.
Special attention was given to approvals, review controls, period closing, corrections, and traceability so that historical financial records remain preserved and understandable.
03 / Solution
What we built
The platform brings daily accounting, financial control, budgeting, reconciliation, reporting, and year-end financial preparation into one connected environment.
It supports customer and supplier accounting, cash and banking, inventory, fixed assets, tax, payroll-related accounting, borrowing, journals, budgets, forecasts, and other core financial activities.
Transactions move through controlled review and approval processes before becoming part of the company’s official accounting records.
FincoBD also supports monthly and year-end closing, account reconciliations, trial balance preparation, management reporting, budget comparison, and the preparation of formal financial statements and supporting schedules.
A defining strength of the system is financial traceability. A reported financial figure can be followed back through the ledger and supporting records to the original business transaction and evidence.

04 / Outcomes
What changed
Accounting transactions, subledgers, General Ledger balances, budgets, reconciliations, and financial reports remain connected rather than being managed as separate sources of information.
Finance teams can work from controlled records throughout the year, management can review financial performance and budget variances, and period-end reporting can be prepared from the same underlying financial data.
The system also supports the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, reconciliations, and audit information in a structured and traceable form for independent external review.
The result is a more controlled, consistent, and transparent corporate finance environment where financial information can be followed from the original transaction through to final reporting.
